Accutane price instruction

The drug provides anti-seboric action and is used to treat severe forms of acne (which are not amenable to treatment by other means).

Refers to the group of retinoids. Close in structure to retinol and etretinate.

The drug is available in capsule form.

Assign inside starting with 0.1 mg / kg per day. Approximately 4 weeks later, the dose is adjusted depending on the effectiveness and tolerability of the drug – in the range from 0.1 to 1.0 mg per 1 kg of body weight per day, not exceeding 2 mg / kg. The course of treatment is carried out for up to 16 weeks.

Capsules are taken with food at a small dose of 1 time per day, with a large dose – in several doses. If necessary, repeated courses of treatment make a break of at least 8 weeks.
