This drug in moderate dosages does not have a toxic effect on the liver, which makes its use harmless for several weeks. Also, it does not suppress the hypothalamus-pituitary-testes axis. The chemical nature of the drug has many similarities with DHT, which can cause prostatic hypertrophy and baldness in men of that part of the head that is richer in hair.
