Description

Tamoxifen 10 mg, which is available in the form of round white tablets with beveled edges and a dividing strip. The main active ingredient of the drug is tamoxifen citrate. In general, Tamoxifen is a non-steroidal agent, therefore it has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects. If we consider the mechanics of the drug in more detail, then its main function is to slow down the process of cell division in the tissues of the body, under the effect of counteracting the microparticles of the hormone estrogen fully activated in its receptors. This, in turn, leads to a decrease in the activity of pathological tumor cells, and further to their death, which significantly increases the chances of recovery.

INDICATIONS FOR USE

Tamoxifen 10 – a drug that has earned a lot of positive feedback in the treatment of such pathologies:

• postmenopausal breast cancer;
• endometrial cancer (inner lining of the uterus);
• infertility caused by the lack of maturation of the egg;
• breast cancer in men;
• kidney cancer;
• melanoma (skin cancer).

In special cases, Tamoxifen 10mg is used in the treatment of soft tissue sarcomas and prostate cancer. Despite the positive dynamics of therapy with Tamoxifen, the drug should be used only after consulting a doctor, as it has some contraindications and causes unpleasant, and in some cases, very serious side effects.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Since the use of Tamoxifen may aggravate the course of the disease or cause exacerbations of existing symptoms.
